Şahmeran Hand Chain
In Mardin folklore, Şahmeran is the serpent queen — half-woman, half-snake, said to live hidden beneath the city until a betrayal brought her into the light. Local silversmiths still name pieces after her, and this hand chain earns the title honestly: silver strands winding across the hand and wrist like her coiled form, joined by hexagonal filigree stations.
